These little beauties have become my favorite things in my
collection since I bought my first one several months ago. My first eye shadow,
Initiation, a lovely brown shade, is where my Chanel make up collection began. After reading about it in InStyle
magazine, which I normally don’t read, I was curious to find out more.

With a pillow-y like texture and intense shimmer, these eye
shadows can be used for day or night depending on your desired intensity.
What’s amazing about these shadows is how little you need to blend across your
whole eye. I feel like a brush can pick up the product and can spread it up and
around nicely. But, you can use your finger to apply the shadows too. The rich
texture just soaks up into your fingertip making it so you really don’t need
much at all.
I have been so pleased with Initiation, New Moon, a rosy
pink from this past summer collection, and my newest, Fatal, a purple shade.
They are all very sheer and wonderful for blending and layering over other
shadows. I typically use my Naked 3 palette colors as a base or even a MAC
paint pot.
These will definitely last me a long time and I look forward
to playing around with them for the upcoming holiday season.
