The Christmas holidays brought me
some wonderful gifts; one in particular (and one of the only makeup related
ones I received) was from Benefit.
I’m really happy with most of Benefit’s
products; I’ve used products such as their foundation, eyeliner, and now
blushers. Housed in one of the most adorable tins ever, is the Cheeky Sweet Spot set.
Inside are
four blushes, one bronzer, and two highlighters. This set gives you the perfect
opportunity to try out a bit of everything for the face from Benefit. Starting with the Hoola bronzer, this bronzer is a great
choice as an alternative to the NARS Laguna bronzer. Dandelion is a very light pink, which is a bit too light for me, so
it might remain untouched in my tin. Bellabomba
is a rich, bright pink that is a perfect color I’d imagine for late spring and
early summer. It seems very similar to NARS’ iconic Orgasm blush, too. Rock is a darker pink-nude shade that
would look great against a tan. Coralista
is one of my favorites, rightly named for its coral tint; I love the look
of it on my cheeks. I like to wear it with a more intense eye whilst still
having a bit of color on my cheeks. Last in the tin is Sugarbomb, a combination of four colors that when swirled together gives
a great pop of color and highlight all in one stroke of your brush. I’m a big
fan of products that I can swipe my brush through and have a great blend of
color on my skin.
After
having this cheeky little set of blushes, I highly recommend trying out
Benefit’s cheek products. I imagine you’ll get a lot of use out of them and
they really are worth it!
