Okay, okay, hear me out, I think I might have found the one. By the one, I mean mascara. I'm in love with everything Pat McGrath does, creates, makes, you name it. Also just listening to her voice is like ASMR in a voice. Wow.
I'd been wanting to try Pat McGrath's mascara for ages and when Sephora put the mini size in the Rewards Bazaar, I snatched up three. I was that committed. After getting real close with my mini size, a full size came into my life and I'm never going back.
My favorite kind of mascara wand is a soft one like a hairbrush so I can build up maximum volume, thickness, and just, drama in general. I prefer a fuller lash look that's usually only achieved by applying around ten coats of mascara.
The FetishEyes mascara promises to be like lash extensions in a tube -what mascara doesn't?- but this one holds up that promise. The formula is more flexible and buildable, like the Sephora website says, because I build up the volume and thickness. I like that later in my makeup routine that I can add more definition to my lashes if I need to. I find the shape of this wand also curls my lashes upwards better than others I've used.
I took the mini one as my only mascara when I went to Washington D.C. at the end of February and even as my only mascara for my top and bottom lashes, it never smudged or flaked, even after eight plus hours of wear.
I love, love this mascara. It's worth every penny for the blackest, most dramatic lashes ever.
